NetApp Instaclustr is searching for a Developer Advocate to join our DevRel team. As a Developer Advocate youll work closely with your team in Developer Relations Open Source Contributions Product Marketing Product Management and Engineering to raise awareness of the NetApp Instaclustr platform and the software we manage on it and help create amazing developer experiences that further excite and aid customers and developers.
Our Developer Advocates are technical experts in their respective technologies and create content that is easy for customers and the community to consume and use to further their own objectives. To be effective in this role you must have a passion for creating technical content that educates inspires and empowers developers. You should excel at translating complex concepts into clear accessible tutorials blog posts videos code samples and conference presentations. Your content should not only demonstrate best practices but also spark creativity and innovation within the developer community. The ideal candidate will have a knack for identifying pain points in the developer experience and creating content that addresses these challenges ultimately driving adoption and fostering a vibrant ecosystem around our technologies. You should be an active participant in community channels including LinkedIn Open Source Discord channels and X (Twitter).
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 122400 - 182600 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidates location qualifications experience and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards reflecting a variety of factors and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance Life Insurance Retirement or Pension Plans Paid Time Off (PTO) various Leave options Performance-Based Incentives employee stock purchase plan and/or restricted stocks (RSUs) with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws regulations and company policies.
