Job Description
Were looking for a Web Developer who can bring our networks digital presence to life from public-facing landing pages and dashboards to powerful internal tools for players and staff. Youll work at the intersection of UX design and backend APIs helping create a seamless experience across web and game. If youre passionate about frontend performance elegant interfaces and Minecrafts community ecosystem this is your opportunity to shape something meaningful from the ground up.
Tasks
- Design build and maintain responsive and accessible web applications for both players and internal teams
- Implement clean and reusable UI components using modern JavaScript frameworks preferably with Nuxt
- Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs to display real-time game data leaderboards stats and more
- Collaborate with designers and content teams to ensure consistent branding and polished user experiences
- Develop admin panels and internal dashboards for moderation QA and content workflows
- Implement robust authentication session management and security measures
- Monitor web performance and optimize for speed scalability and SEO
- Work with our infrastructure team to improve API usability and efficiency
- Maintain consistent code quality with modern tools (ESLint Prettier Git workflows CI/CD)
- Participate in weekly planning reviews and collaborative feedback sessions
Requirements
- 2 years of experience building modern web applications using HTML CSS and JavaScript or TypeScript
- Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks ideally with Nuxt or willingness to transition from frameworks like React
- Solid experience integrating and working with RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Familiarity with authentication flows rate limiting and API security best practices
- Proficiency with modern development tools: Git npm/yarn CI/CD workflows and linting/formatting tools
- Strong eye for design and usability you care about creating clean accessible user interfaces
- Bonus: Experience with analytics tools A/B testing or real-time data dashboards
- Bonus: Backend development experience in Java
- Team-oriented mindset youre motivated by collaborative success
- Availability for a full-time contractor role (40 hours per week)
