Job Description
The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic and fast-paced product development this role youll contribute across the entire software development lifecycle working on both front-end and back-end components of scalable high-quality web applications.
As part of an Agile/Scrum team youll collaborate closely with designers stakeholders and fellow engineers to create intuitive interfaces efficient backend services and well-integrated data-driven systems.
Responsibilities:
Tech Stack & Environment
- Backend: PHP with Doctrine ORM
- Frontend: React JavaScript HTML CSS jQuery
- Database: PostgreSQL (or equivalent relational databases such as MySQL or MSSQL)
Tools & Ecosystem - Jira Amazon Q
- Webpack Compass SASS
- Figma for design collaboration
- Docker for containerized development
- BlueprintJS component library
- REST APIs and microservices-based architecture
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain robust full stack applications using PHP (Doctrine) and React.
- Build responsive and accessible UI components using React HTML/CSS and JavaScript including jQuery for legacy features.
- Work with PostgreSQL and other RDS platforms to design efficient schemas and write optimized queries.
- Collaborate closely with product designers and stakeholders using tools like Figma to bring user-centric designs to life.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including daily standups sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and support services into web applications.
- Maintain and enhance the frontend build system (Webpack Compass SASS).
- Ensure high code quality through unit testing peer code reviews and CI/CD practices.
- Contribute to containerized development environments using Docker.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in full stack development.
- Proficiency in PHP and working with ORM frameworks (preferably Doctrine).
- Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript development.
- Solid understanding of HTML5 CSS3 and responsive design principles.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL MySQL or MSSQL.
- Comfort working with jQuery in legacy or mixed environments.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and tools like Jira and GitHub.
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)
- Experience with AWS AppSync or other GraphQL API layers.
- Exposure to document generation tools (e.g. Gotenberg).
- Familiarity with web automation and headless browser tools (e.g. Puppeteer).
- CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions.
- Experience with AWS services such as S3 SQS SES and Lambda.
- Knowledge of security best practices in API-first and cloud-native environments.
