Job Description
The Childrens School at Stephens College (CSSC) is seeking full-time teachers for the 2025-2026 academic school year with the potential for renewal.
About Us
CSSC is deeply embedded in the Stephens College teacher education program offering a holistic and hands-on approach to early childhood and elementary education. We foster a lifelong love of learning through exploration creativity and discovery.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that integrates the arts and sciences.
- Mentor preservice teachers in the Stephens College education program.
- Engage in school events and activities including staff meetings professional development and college-related activities.
- Assess and evaluate students progress across all content areas.
- Uphold school and college policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the CSSC Director.
Qualifications:
- Missouri teaching certificate in Early Childhood or Elementary Education (required).
- Teaching experience (preferred).
- Experience in integrating the arts and sciences into the curriculum (preferred).
