Have you wanted an opportunity to develop software for an advanced satellite broadband telecom service The Asset and Configuration Management Engineering (ACME) team owns the tracking and managing Kuiper assets such as satellites and ground stations and their configuration.
The systems we build serve a fundamental role in the successful operation of the satellite constellation these systems need to have mission-critical reliability uptime and performance.
Key job responsibilities - Develop software systems that meet the mission criteria and requirements. - Collaborate with your fellow team members to form a strong foundation for a software organization in Project Kuiper. - Help on-board new team members. - Utilize AWS and other Amazon technologies to build high-available software services.
Export Control Requirement Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
About the team The ACME teams mission is to track Kuiper assets and provide a central system for accessing modifying and understanding configuration values for these assets as is needed for a safe operation of the constellation. Through automation we will validate all new and updated configuration values as required before delivering to the destination assets.
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience - Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
