Job Description
Founded in 2011 Meridian School is a public tuition-free charter school open to all students living in Williamson County. As a charter school we are a school of choice offering an inquiry-based curriculum and continuum for the International Baccalaureate Program K-12. Job Description Key Responsibilities- Execute lesson plans left by absent teachers.
- Seek additional guidance from teachers and administrators when needed.
- Establish positive and professional relationships with students maintaining a respectful fair and productive classroom culture.
- Use technology as directed by the lesson plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
- Skill in clear written and verbal communication organization problem solving critical thinking and flexibility.
Education/Certification
- Associates degree or 60 hours of college/university coursework.
- Bachelors degree and Texas Teaching Certification preferred but not required.
This position will operate in a professional non-smoking office environment which at times can be busy with moderate noise and many unscheduled interruptions. This role will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers and peripherals phones photocopiers and filing cabinets.
