Job Title: Senior Spring Boot Developer
Location: Whitefield Bangalore
Reporting to: Manager Thilagan
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Spring Boot Developer with a minimum of 8 years experience in building and maintaining robust Java backend applications. You will be part of a dynamic team led by Manager Thilagan in Whitefield Bangalore focusing on cutting-edge microservices and enterprise-grade RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate is proficient with ORM (Hibernate JPA) Spring JDBC and has hands-on experience working in microservices environments.
Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot.
Architect and implement RESTful APIs ensuring high reliability security and performance.
Integrate and optimize relational databases using ORM frameworks (Hibernate JPA).
Implement efficient data access layers with Spring JDBC and JPA.
Develop deploy and maintain microservices ensuring smooth communication across components.
Collaborate with other development QA and DevOps teams for end-to-end solution delivery.
Participate in code reviews provide technical mentoring to junior team members.
Troubleshoot debug and enhance existing applications for greater performance.
Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making.
Requirements:
8 years hands-on Java development experience with deep expertise in Spring Boot.
Extensive experience building and integrating RESTful web services.
Expertise in ORM technologies (Hibernate JPA).
Strong knowledge of Spring JDBC and relational database design.
Solid background in microservices architecture containerization (Docker/Kubernetes a plus).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git Actions).
Excellent communication analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience working in Agile teams.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud environments (AWS Azure or GCP).
Knowledge of messaging/reporting platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Familiarity with security standards and performance tuning methodologies.
