Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Strategy
- Create high-quality engaging product videos and visual content showcasing vendor clothing across Instagram TikTok Facebook and YouTube.
- Develop and execute a consistent content strategy aligned with Somtico Fashion Hub s brand story voice and mission.
- Design and manage paid ad campaigns on Meta TikTok and other platforms to boost product visibility and brand awareness.
- Write compelling captions taglines and scripts tailored to African fashion and lifestyle audiences.
Vendor & Influencer Engagement
- Collaborate with vendors to create content highlighting their designs processes and stories.
- Coach vendors on content best practices presentation and trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers brand ambassadors and content creators.
Customer & Community Engagement
- Engage with customers via DMs comments and mentions to build community and drive sales.
- Source and co-create user-generated content from happy customers.
- Initiate creative campaigns (e.g. style challenges testimonials fashion spotlights) to encourage interaction.
Performance Tracking & Insights
- Monitor analytics across social platforms and ad accounts to measure engagement growth and ROI.
- Provide monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
- Use insights to refine content strategy and optimize posting schedules.
Team Collaboration & Training
- Work with internal teams to brainstorm campaigns and align messaging.
- Train staff on social media tools editing and content standards.
- Stay up-to-date with trends in African fashion social media and digital marketing.
Other Duties:
- Support offline events that require content capture and promotion.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the CEO or leadership team.
Requirements:
- BSc. Degree in Digital Marketing or a similar course of study
- 3 years of experience is required
- A lagos based candidate is most preferred
