Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Sr Master Scheduler Responsibilities and duties:
- The Sr Master Scheduler will Maintain ERP system for all Material Functional areas as BOM and ship to locations.
- Process customer releases and monitor changes to releases
- Creates daily production schedules and ensures production output is recorded and posted into the ERP system.
- Coordinate with customer shipping and delivery schedules
- Work closely with customers team leaders Quality Engineers Logistics personnel to determinedaily production requirements.
- Identifies Customer cum inaccuracies and supplier inaccuracies as needed.
- Communicates No Surprise Forms to customers when supply shortage occurs.
- Support new product/program launches
- Formalizes sales and operations planning data.
- Parameters drive inventory levels with manufacturing unit.
- Lead improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Sr Master Scheduler Qualifications/Experience
- Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain mgt. accounting or engineering
- Broad based supply chain management and process development knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills
- PC software skills and QAD knowledge preferred
- Ability to make quick decisions in dynamic fast paced environment
- Ability to prioritize competing demands
- Strong time management skills and customer focus
- Advanced analytical problem solving skills to determine root cause of issues.
Manufacturing Experience
10 years in applied experience in the automotive manufacturing environment
