Then the CommonSpirit Health Administrative Fellowship in Strategy is your opportunity!

About the Fellowship:

Shape the future of healthcare strategy with our immersive 18-month post-graduate program focused on Payer Strategy Relationships and Analytics. Working directly with our Payer Strategy Relationships Analytics Team youll gain diverse skills through rotations tailored to your interests within the Strategy pillar receiving broad exposure to the complexities of payer strategy data analysis and strategic decision-making. This remote role with occasional travel opportunities and an anticipated start date in July 2026 is designed to cultivate future leaders in healthcare strategy and analytics.

Responsibilities

What Youll Do:

  • Meaningful Projects: Lead initiatives that support CommonSpirit Healths goals.
  • Executive Mentorship: Work closely with executive sponsors to guide your rotations.
  • Invest in Your Future: You will be able to customize your professional development through conferences memberships certifications and more through a designated Fellow budget.
  • Skill Development: Hone your management decision-making and change management abilities.
  • Mentorship & Networking: Build relationships with leaders and peers.
  • Hands-On Operations: Gain practical experience in various functional areas.
  • Leadership Opportunities: Take on substantive projects to develop your skills.
  • Diverse Experiences: Gain hands-on experience in payer strategy through supporting:
    • Payer Strategy Development: Support the development of payer strategy for a select identified market.
    • Data Analysis & Modeling: Gain foundational exposure to analytics and negotiations progressing to more advanced areas like data science and complex modeling.
    • High-Stakes Settlements: Participate in high-stakes settlements.

Qualifications

What Youll Need:

    • Masters Degree in either:
      • Master of Health Administration (MHA)
      • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
      • Master of Public Health (MPH)
      • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
      • Or equivalent degree from an accredited graduate program
  • Strongly prefer a Masters degree in Business Administration combined with an undergraduate background in disciplines such as Engineering Economics Mathematics Data Science or the Sciences.
  • Graduation Status: Completion of all on-campus requirements and eligibility to graduate upon fellowship completion
  • Experience: Less than 5 years of professional experience.
  • Graduation Date: Must have graduated with an applicable Masters Degree between Spring 2023-Spring 2027.
  • Passion: A passion for CommonSpirit Healths mission and a commitment to humankindness.
  • Commitment: A strong interest in healthcare management and leadership specifically within strategy and analytics.
