Job Description:
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled PLM Analyst with expertise in Siemens Teamcenter to support and enhance our Product Lifecycle Management systems. This role will be instrumental in optimizing product data workflows supporting cross-functional teams and ensuring the integrity of product information throughout its lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Siemens Teamcenter PLM system for all end users including configuration upgrades and user access management.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and implement PLM solutions that align with business needs.
- Manage product structures CAD data BOMs workflows and processes within Teamcenter.
- Provide end-user training documentation and technical support to ensure effective system usage. Maintain the Request for Teamcenter Improvements (RTI) and Request for Data Migration (RDM) Lists.
- Fully Validate Solutions within a UAT or Dev Environment
- Analyze and improve PLM-related business processes to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
- Integrate Teamcenter with other enterprise systems (e.g. ERP CAD MES CPQ).
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Participate in PLM-related projects including system upgrades migrations and new module implementations.
- Administer a Braun Standard for DBOM EBOM MBOM- CPQ & SBOM flow using Teamcenter while working with a cross-functional team to meet company expectations
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Information Systems Computer Science or a related field.
- 3 years of experience working with Siemens Teamcenter in a PLM analyst or administrator role.
- Strong understanding of product development processes and lifecycle management.
- Experience with CAD data management (Inventor NX SolidWorks or similar) within Teamcenter.
- Familiarity with Teamcenter modules such as Workflow Designer Change Management and BOM Management.
- Familiarity with both Teamcenter Active Workspace and Rich Client
- Knowledge of scripting or programming (e.g. ITK BMIDE Java or SQL) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Teamcenter integrations (e.g. Epicor (Preferred) SAP or other ERP systems).
- Certification in Siemens Teamcenter or related PLM technologies.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence (e.g. Copilot ChatGPT and other Large Language Models)
