Job Description
Schedule: 15 hours per week
Position Summary: The Church Facilities Lead is responsible for maintaining a clean safe and welcoming environment throughout the campus. This role includes weekly cleaning and set up of indoor spaces trash removal basic groundskeeping basic maintenance and monthly deep-cleaning tasks. The bulk of this work will take place after youth services on Wednesday nights.
Responsibilities:
- Kids Ministry Rooms:
- Vacuum/sweep and sanitize all kids ministry classrooms and nursery spaces
- Shampoo all carpeted spaces (annually)
- Clean interior surface glass as needed
- Bathrooms:
- Clean and disinfect toilets sinks counters mirrors and floors
- Restock soap paper towels toilet paper as needed
- Replace batteries in dispensers as needed
- Main Building and Patio Area:
- Vacuum/sweep floors including platform and upstairs office
- Mop lobby as needed
- Clean & sanitize Mothers Room as needed
- Shampoo all carpeted spaces (annually)
- Reset auditorium chairs
- Clean and fill baptismal as needed
- Clean outdoor seating and tables as needed
- Clean gym classrooms as needed
- Clean interior surface glass as needed
- Clean interior and exterior of glass doors as needed
- Trash Removal:
- Empty all interior and exterior trash from both buildings
- Replace liners
- Pick up litter from parking lot and surrounding outdoor space as needed
- Basic Groundskeeping/maintenance:
- Clear off entryways and walkways as needed (blow or sweep)
- Water plants
- Monitor landscaping and building needs (report issues to Campus Operations Pastor)
- Remove snow from stairs walkways and patio as needed
- Check and replace burned-out lightbulbs
- Clean out outdoor drainage (monthly)
- Sweep/mop gym floor using appropriate cleaner and equipment (monthly)
- Organize weed abatement with volunteers and staff (annually)
- Wednesday Night Setup:
- Set up Sandals Church Youth spaces for Wednesday night groups (gym patio and log chapel)
Additional Requirements:
- Alignment with the mission and values of the church
- Properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment in order to prevent damage to self and campuses.
- Ability to lift carry pull or push objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Attend weekly staff engagement meetings (Tuesday mornings)
- Monitor and order cleaning supplies as needed
Compensation Information:
- Pay Range: $18-$19 per hour
- We will provide a pay rate that is within our compensation structure and that fits a candidates qualifications and experience for the job. A wage range posted is not a guarantee of a specific wage for a job offer.
