Under general supervision performs full-performance level professional work in planning organizing promoting and implementing health education programs designed to inform students community groups and the general public on a variety of public health topics. May supervise clerical support staff. May involve travel. Performs related duties as required.This is the full-performance level in the series involving increased responsibility and independence in the delivery of public health education initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
Training:Masters degree in health education or counseling within a health related field.
Substitution:Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a baccalaureate degree in community health education; public health education; health education; public health; health science; education with a major in health physical or biological scienceor related field; or counseling with two years experience in health education or counseling in a health related field.***Your complete work history is needed to qualify you for positions.
