This position serves as the lead worker in the NCOVR Business Operations and Customer Service Program. Duties will include but not be limited to leading and participating in service application intake application processing financial reconciliation financial and operational reporting written and oral correspondence with internal and external customers and assistance with management of Accounts Receivable contracts and budgeting.
This position is responsible for leading and supporting business operations and continuous improvement initiatives within the Business Operations and Customer Service Program in NCOVR. The position is responsible for managing and implementing improvements related to intake processing customer service records management and other activities in support of the NCOVR mission. The position helps to ensure the continual accountability for services in order to provide efficient business operations support to the entire NCOVR operation.
The position shall evaluate current workflow and make recommendations to improve efficiencies. They will train new staff and cross train existing staff. This position is actively involved in all automation efforts.
The position shall manage system data extracts and imports of information with vendor(s) to assist with service fulfillment. The Business Support Specialist shall troubleshoot hardware and software issues while analyzing user system issues to determine root cause and best course of action to resolve. The position
Identifies issues problems and opportunities; applies effective methods to determine a course of action or develop suitable solutions.
Compiles assimilates and organizes both printed and electronic information; applies data collection storage organization manipulation and analysis techniques.
Uses office equipment and relevant technology (software and systems) to support organizational functions.
Vital Records Experience
Completion of high school or equivalent and four years of progressively responsible secretarial or clerical/administrative/office management experience; or completion of a two-year secretarial science or business administration program and two years of progressively responsible secretarial or clerical/administrative/office management experience; or completion of a four-year program in a college or university preferably with major emphasis on coursework in business administration public administration or other related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
