Description of the role:

The Admin to Service and Parts Director will provide administrative support to the Service and Parts Director in an automotive dealership setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Service and Parts Director in daily administrative tasks
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Manage documents and records
  • Coordinate with other departments as needed

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous administrative experience preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload

An Assistant to the Service and Parts Director typicallyprovides administrative and operational support to the director of these departments.This role involves a variety of tasks including managing appointments coordinating communications assisting with parts and service orders and submitting warranty claims.
Specific duties may include:
  • Administrative Support:
    Scheduling appointments managing correspondence and maintaining files for the director.
  • Parts and Service Coordination:
    Assisting with parts ordering tracking inventory and coordinating service schedules.
  • Communication Management:
    Handling phone calls emails and other forms of communication on behalf of the director.
  • Report Preparation:
    Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations related to service and parts operations.
  • Customer Service:
    Providing support to customers regarding parts and service inquiries.
