Elementary Student Council Sponsor
Reports to: Building Principal
An elementary school student council sponsors job is tocoordinate student council activities and help students develop leadership and citizenship responsibilities of a student council sponsor include:
- Coordinating activities:Overseeing all student council activities such as elections fundraising and events.
- Supporting students:Helping students develop leadership and citizenship skills by leading the student body and providing opportunities to serve the community
- Planning events:Brainstorming with students about ideas for events and activities throughout the year
- Ensuring safety:Making sure safety precautions are followed during all activities
- Communicating:Communicating effectively with school district and community members
- Promoting events:Advertising and publicizing student council events
