You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailUnder the direction of the Independent Contractor Recruiting Manager this positions primary objective is to recruit and orient Independent Contractors and act as the steward for compliance of legal and ethical contracting practices which results in the minimization of risk for legal challenges. This role ensures compliance of onboarding paperwork and databases IC certifications supports the Distribution Center in the ongoing maintenance of DOT and OSHA regulatory compliance requirements and possesses the intellectual capital to provide counsel and support to the Operations team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals.
Working knowledge of labor law.
Able to maintain composure under time constraints and deadlines.
Critical thinking/Problem solving skills
Strong Customer-service orientation (internal and external customers)
Proficient in Microsoft Word Outlook and Excel
At ease with computers and various applications
Can work independently as well as promote collaboration in a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
