Description
This position will work up to 20 hours per week during the semester. Work times are available Monday-Sunday and some evening hours.
Examples of Duties
- Handle phone calls professionally record and deliver accurate messages and direct calls promptly.
- Prospective student communications.
- Guide campus tours.
- Perform administrative duties including mail pick-up and delivery making copies filing and picking up items on campus.
- Use office equipment copier scanners shredder etc.
- Conduct light cleaning in the office area to ensure that work areas are tidy.
- Assist with special functions or events as needed.
- Available to work evenings and weekend hours throughout the semester.
- Other office support duties as assigned by departmental supervisor.
Typical Qualifications
- Must be enrolled as a student at Glenville State University
- Good Academic Standing (2.75 or higher).
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Applications (Excel PowerPoint and Word).
- Professionalism is a must.
