At time of application you must be a citizen national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited four-year college or university with a bachelors degree in business administration public administration or a related field.Substitution: Work experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree on a year-for-year basis. Such experience must have provided the knowledge skills and analytical ability normally gained from attainment of a bachelors degree.The education requirement must be met at the time of application. Education obtained outside of the United States must be comparable to a degree earned at a regionally-accredited college/university in the United order to receive credit for the education a foreign credential evaluation (FCE) must be provided. We also reserve the right to request further information about your academic program evidence of comparability or an original transcript.Verification Requirement: In order to be given credit for your education clearly list your education credentials on your application. As part of the hiring process you may be asked to furnish documentation to verify your education to satisfy this education qualification requirement. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Three years ofprofessional (post-bachelors degree non-clerical) experience in industrial safety and accident prevention activities.
Such experience must have demonstrated knowledge of: industrial accident hazards and methods of correction and prevention; industrial safety devices and equipment; safety education and publicity media principles methods and practices; and safety inspection principles practices and procedures. Such experience must also have demonstrated the ability to: plan execute and coordinate an effective safety and accident prevention program; and instruct others in safety techniques causes of accidents and accident prevention.
LICENSE REQUIREMENT:
Possession of a valid appropriate drivers license (automobile/Type 3) prior to appointment.Examination Process
