Key performance areas
As an Accounts Payable Clerk for seamless tube manufacturing working within the Finance department you will process invoices into the system after matching with Purchase Order and receiving as well as researching vendor discrepancies and running payments.
Your Role
- Monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are made on time and resolve payment-related concerns.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements.
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs including checks ACH and wire payments.
- Match invoices to POs and receiving and contact managers with discrepancies.
- Process invoices in ERPLX and Medius.
- Perform additional duties as required for Finance.
- Perform some order entry tasks for other departments as needed.
About You
We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting preferably in a manufacturing environment. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Candidates should also possess:
- Initiative.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
- Working knowledge of Accounts Payable in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
- Strong communication problem-solving and time management skills.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
What you can expect from us
The pay range for this position is $21.00 to $24.00 hourly with a 5% annual bonus opportunity and annual merit increase eligibility.
