Executive Job Opportunity: Director Ministerial Services

  • Key role leading engagement with the portfolio Ministers and their offices
  • Senior Executive Band 1: TRP commencing from $217997
  • Sydney and Parramatta location
  • Ongoing Full-time

The Strategic Policy Science and Engagement (SPSE) Group within the Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment and Water(DCCEEW) is currently seeking to recruit a Director Ministerial Services.

The Director Ministerial Services leads the delivery of ministerial and parliamentary services to all portfolio Ministers for DCCEEW (Energy Climate Change Environment Heritage and Water) including the provision of briefings reports policy advice correspondence and parliamentary support. The role ensures that Ministerial Services is a trusted partner enabler and an effective and efficient conduit between the Ministers Offices and all of DCCEEWs portfolio agencies.

This role requires regular engagement with the portfolio Ministers and is a critical part of setting the tone and nature of the relationship with these offices.

About You

You will be an experienced Director of ministerial or parliamentary services and enjoy being at the centre of government decision making.

You are a highly motivated driven and experienced senior executive leader who enjoys and is exceptional at strategically engaging with the department Ministers and key government stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to operate at the highest levels of government working closely with the Secretary executive leadership Ministerial Offices and central agencies.
