Lead and supervise a team in analyzing growth trends and data to make strategic technological choices for fiber and equipment. Recommend and implement network planning and evolution policies to support wireless and wireline infrastructure corporate initiatives and customer demand.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Typical tasks may include but are not limited to the following:
Strategic Planning and Leadership: Develop network strategies lead and mentor a team manage planning and design activities and influence HR decisions.
Network Design and Planning: Oversee design projects evaluate capacity and performance conduct feasibility studies and ensure adherence to work processes and standards.
Project Management: Manage projects from conception to completion allocate resources coordinate with stakeholders and oversee construction budgets.
Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare cost estimates monitor expenses manage construction budgets and provide financial reports.
Training and Development: Identify training needs promote knowledge sharing and manage the training evaluation and performance of direct reports.
Job Contribution:
Oversees operational aspects of the department focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives. This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management. Typically leads entry-level and career-level staff within the organization. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring firing disciplinary action promotional activity and pay decisions for subordinates.
Environmental Requirements:
Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree (BS/BA) desired. 5 years of related experience.
This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include but is not limited to work related to fuel tanks emergency and stand-by generators boilers hazardous waste hazardous materials batteries manholes and vaults water wells linear and other construction projects water discharge or air emissions.
