Job Description:
DXC Technology is looking for Hadoop Administrator to join Analytics offering.
Responsibility
- Install configure and maintain Hadoop clusters/ecosystem in Linux environment to ensure high availability optimal performance and security.
- Deploy manage and monitor Hadoop clusters using Cloudera Manager or Apache Ambari or Ganglia Nagios.
- Monitor connectivity and security. Maintain HDFS and providing necessary supports.
- Work closely with database network and software developers to support data processing and big data applications.
Requirement
- At least 3 Y experience in the role.
- Strong Linux system administration skills and knowledge of HDFS YARN MapReduce Hive Pig.
- Good troubleshooting skills understanding of systems capacity and bottlenecks.
- Previous experience on Financial Services will be considered preferable.
