Education and Experience:
NOTE: POSSESSION OF AN ACTIVE APPRAISER REGISTRATION UNDER ORS 308.010 IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE. COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER REGISTRATION IS DIFFERENT THAN THE CERTIFICATION FOR FEE APPRAISERS.The appraisal certificationdoes not substitute for Washington County property appraiser registration. You must apply to the State to take the County property appraiser test and receive notification of registration.
Visit Oregons Department of Revenues Appraiser Registration page for information about the registration process to submit your online registration application and to access exam preparation resources. Please note testing is only available on the first third and fifth (if applicable) Thursday of each month from 9 am - 12 pm. Exams are conducted via Zoom.
