Job Description
Job Overview: We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Lead to join our team in Gastonia NC! Candidates need to speak both English and Spanish. This position involves a variety of tasks such as maintaining inventory organizing shipments and fulfilling orders. You will also lead a small warehouse team. This is a full time first shift position. If you speak both Spanish and English enjoy leading others and thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead - Lead the warehouse team.
- Receiving & Processing Shipments
- Unload and unpack incoming shipments.
- Verify accuracy and check for damage.
- Label and store products in designated areas.
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Report any discrepancies or damages.
- Restock shelves and ensure products are available.
- Order Fulfillment
- Pick pack and prepare orders for shipment.
- Scan barcodes and check order accuracy.
- Print and apply shipping labels.
- Warehouse Operations
- Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other equipment.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean organized and safe.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Other Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Participate in inventory counts.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bilingual: Able to communicate in both Spanish and English.
- Warehouse leadership experience: At least two years as a leader in a warehouse.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy is key in managing inventory and fulfilling orders.
- Organization: Ability to keep the warehouse clean and well-organized.
- Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Communication: Clear communication with team members and supervisors.
- Equipment Experience: Forklift pallet jack and warehouse equipment experience.
- Basic Computer Skills: Use of scanning equipment and warehouse management systems.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
