Career Readiness Learning Objectives: Professionalism The Finance Office Assistant will demonstrate dependability exhibit great attention to detail and show a high level of dedication toward doing a good job. Teamwork The Finance Office Assistant will create and maintain relationships with the Finance staff members to work toward common goals. Technology - The Finance Office Assistant will demonstrate the flexibility to learn the technology required to assist the staff. This includes but is not limited to using the MS Office products Colleague Visa Spend Clarity Image Now etc. Essential Duties: The Finance Office Assistant will provide support to the Finance Office specifically the Procurement and Controllers Offices. Duties will include but not be limited to the following: Assist with reconciliation of the credit card account Assist with a review of Fixed Assets Pulling a variety of invoices and other supporting items related to the audit. Pulling invoices for the RCAP projects Assist A/P Office with contacting vendors to request invoice copies Assist Purchasing Office with contacting vendors to follow up on purchase orders Open and sort the mail Scanning incoming invoices so they can be emailed to initiators for OK to pay Assist with closing blanket orders at the end of the fiscal year Assist when staff members take vacation May assist with other duties as needed The position runs July 1 2025 to Aug 16 2025 with a possible continuation to May 2026..

Required Qualifications
Must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement. Preference will be given to a 1st or 2nd year Business student with a minimum 2.5 GPA who is available to work during the academic year and summer. Have a clear conduct record at the time of hiring and maintain this status throughout the term of employment. Have a working knowledge of campus resources. Pleasant disposition on the phone. Experience using MS Word Excel PowerPoint. Experience using standard office equipment such as copy machine and printer. Committed to confidentiality/ FERPA and willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to a 1st or 2nd year Business student with a minimum 2.5 GPA who is available to work during the academic year and summer.
