You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailYour role: Working across all News UK brands and channels you will manage service and evolve our contractual relationships with significant agencies and clients. This will require working closely with the News UK Trading Director to innovate in the design and execution of strategic initiatives as well as modernising News UKs trading policies and practices.
You will collaborate with relevant News UK teams and others to ensure current News UK / Industry thinking insight and research is regularly communicated to our senior Investment partners (Holding Companies Agencies and Clients).
Day to day you will:
Support the Trading Director in reviewing and evolving commercial deal models in response to industry shifts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Sales Directors and Investment Directors at holding groups and media agencies (noting that titles may vary by agency).
Manage agency provisions where appropriate and accurate forecasting of revenue and rewards to track and assess deal performance against market benchmarks.
Work with our Finance teams to deliver company targets
Develop contacts with significant clients and work with Guilds to ensure they are aware of opportunities through the team.
What were looking for from you:
Our customers often have numerous media partners making it essential for us to stand out.
You must be inquisitive and interested in a broad commercial picture with the ability to distil this into relevant information for customers.
You should be a skilled negotiator adopting a collaborative partnership-based approach to negotiations.
Collaborating with internal teams is crucial as these relationships contribute to delivering better results for News UK.
Strong numerical skills.
You will need experience of managing large deal positions with internal and external auditors.
