Associate Director Security - DOD Collateral SAP and SCI Programs

Two Six Technologies is looking for a dynamic and experienced Associate Director Security to partner with our Director of Security in leading all facets of security operations for classified Department of Defense (DoD) and Special Access Programs (SAP). In this hands-on critical role youll help drive compliance with government regulations contractual requirements and internal policiesensuring our most sensitive information and systems remain protected and secure.

The role will require working 5 days/week in our Arlington VA HQ office.

What you will do:

  • Support and partner with the Director of Security to oversee all aspects of the organizations DoD and SAP classified security programs including information personnel and physical security programs compliance across the company.
  • Manage and mentor a team across DoD and SAP Programs across the company.
  • Ensure compliance with security directives including the DoD 5205.07 SAP series 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule) ICDs and other applicable for documenting all policies and procedures for ensuring successful DOD and SAP processes are in place.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (DoD and IC customers) to facilitate important and productive outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with government reporting requirements as it relates to personnel facility and other aspects of our security program
  • Take an active role in supporting the development and administration of security training and awareness programs. Coordinate with the IC team to ensure training is consistent across the company.
  • Assist the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to oversee classified IS program; asset accountability DCSA and SAP inspections and accreditations and operation of assets; works with end users to ensure that assets are being tracked and used properly and in accordance with all government directives and regulations.
  • Participate in the review of government and commercial proposals for security requirements and impacts. Draft security volumes for DOD and SAP proposals.
  • Manage operations for DOD SCIF and SAP-F within the TST headquarters.
  • Manage cleared guard force for Arlington Office.
  • Prepare FFCLs and construction/accreditation; work with customer to obtain facility approvals.
  • Ensure the Arlington facility operates seamlessly and policies and procedures are documented and understood by staff.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility; must be willing and able to obtain CI poly.
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience working on Security teams for DoD and/or IC community contractor(s) in the security compliance requirements for Collateral SCI and Special Access Programs (SAP).
  • 5 years of current hands-on experience with complex SAP programs.
  • Demonstrated success of managing a team of at least 5 staff members including hiring and mentoring staff.
  • Strong understanding of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manuals NISP 32 CFR ICDs and other applicable security regulations.
  • Experience with JADE.
  • Experience as a COMSEC custodian.
  • Completion of the DSS FSO Program Management for Possessing Facility Curriculum.
  • Working knowledge of all industrial security program functions including Physical Security (PHYSEC) Personnel Security (PERSEC) Communications Security (COMSEC) Operations Security (OPSEC) Counterintelligence and Insider Threat systems security and program protection.
  • Demonstrated experience working successfully with internal and external stakeholders and leaders and DoD customers.

Clearance Required:

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility; must be willing and able to obtain CI poly.

The projected salary range listed for this position is annualized. This is a general guideline and not a guarantee of salary. Salary is one component of our total compensation package and the specific salary offered is determined by various factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge skills geographic location as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Salary Range

$165000 - $220000 USD
