Do you have a passion for improving public spaces and leading teams to deliver exceptional services for communities Gosport Borough Council is seeking an experienced Public Spaces Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery and strategic development of our parks play areas sports facilities nature sites allotments cemeteries and more.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Public Spaces youll manage a diverse team to ensure high-quality customer-focused services across a range of outdoor spaces. Youll be a key player in shaping the future of Gosports green and public spacesensuring theyre well-maintained inclusive sustainable and responsive to community needs.
Youll oversee operations manage budgets ensure legal compliance develop long-term strategies and promote community partnerships. The role also involves supporting corporate initiatives and deputising for the Head of Public Spaces when required.
The role will be considered for hybrid working with a combination of remote/home working and office attendance.
