Job Description: Business Analyst (Automotive)

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Analyst with a strong background in the automotive industry to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions across our automotive operations from product development to manufacturing sales and after-sales.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Automotive Domain Expertise & Quality Standards: Deep understanding of the automotive value chain including R&D manufacturing supply chain
- Requirements Elicitation & Solution Design: Proven ability to elicit analyze and document complex business requirements from diverse automotive stakeholders (e.g. engineers production quality sales). Skilled in translating technical concepts (e.g. connected car features EV battery management systems ADAS functionalities) into clear actionable business and functional specifications.
- Process Optimization & Data Analysis: Expertise in mapping and optimizing automotive-specific business processes using methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma. Proficient in analyzing operational data from manufacturing execution systems (MES) telematics ERP and CRM to identify bottlenecks improve efficiency and drive data-driven decision-making (e.g. OEE warranty rates production throughput).
- System Integration & Implementation: Experience working with major automotive enterprise systems (e.g. SAP S/4HANA PLM systems like Teamcenter/ENOVIA MES DMS). Ability to understand system interdependencies and contribute to the successful implementation and integration of new technologies and software solutions within an automotive environment.
- Problem Solving & Communication: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with experience applying root cause analysis methodologies (e.g. 8D 5 Whys) to resolve automotive operational or quality issues. Strong communication presentation and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings to senior management.
