Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Business Analyst (PolicyCenter) to support a high-impact Guidewire PolicyCenter initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in P&C Insurance significant hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter (v10 preferred) and the ability to work onsite in Erie PA or Piscataway NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business stakeholders to gather analyse and document requirements for PolicyCenter implementations and enhancements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications use cases and process flows.
- Lead and facilitate JAD sessions workshops and discussions between business and technical teams.
- Collaborate with Guidewire configuration and integration teams to ensure seamless implementation.
- Develop data mappings workflow documentation and user stories for PolicyCenter modules.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by helping create test cases performing defect triage and validating functionality.
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical developers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to Guidewire implementation standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the P&C Insurance industry.
- Proven hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter ideally version 10.
- Strong understanding of insurance products underwriting rating and full policy lifecycle.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and documentation skills.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Erie PA or Piscataway NJ.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Guidewire PolicyCenter certification (BA or Configuration track).
- Experience with large-scale PolicyCenter implementations or upgrades.
Exposure to
Guidewire BillingCenter or DataHub.
