Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the Go Live plan: Create detailed plans that align with project timelines and objectives ensuring all activities are coordinated effectively.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams: Lead and collaborate with various departments to facilitate a smooth transition to Workday addressing any challenges that arise.
  • Risk identification and mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks associated with the Go Live process and develop strategies to minimize disruption.
  • Stakeholder communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders providing updates and addressing any concerns related to the Go Live activities.
  • Data migration oversight: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data migration processes verifying that all necessary data is correctly transferred to Workday.
  • Post-Go Live review: Conduct thorough reviews after Go Live to assess the success of the implementation and identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance assurance: Ensure all activities comply with organizational policies and industry standards throughout the Go Live process.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale IT implementations preferably with Workday.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in risk management and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with data migration processes and best practices.
  • Ability to conduct post-implementation reviews and drive continuous improvement.

Workday Support Model Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Workday-specific support model: Design and implement a support structure that integrates best practices from the legacy application support model.
  • Define roles and responsibilities: Establish clear accountability within the support team to ensure efficient operations and issue resolution.
  • Leverage existing resources: Utilize current support tools and processes to enhance the Workday support model while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Training and development: Create comprehensive training programs to equip team members with the skills needed for effective Workday support.
  • Communication and stakeholder engagement: Set up robust communication channels to facilitate timely issue resolution and maintain stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Monitoring and feedback: Implement tools to track system performance and gather user feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge management: Develop a knowledge base documenting common issues and solutions to streamline support processes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in building and managing IT support teams preferably with Workday.
  • Strong understanding of legacy application support models and ability to adapt them to new systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to develop training programs and manage team performance.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and knowledge management systems.
