Job Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote a safe clean and compliant work environment by supporting housekeeping safety systems and risk mitigation efforts.
- Troubleshoot and improve HDPE board manufacturing processes using RCA DOE and other problem-solving tools.
- Collaborate with Engineering and R&D on product and process development modifications and testing through support efforts as well as project ownership.
- Develop document and validate setup procedures and process standards for PE board equipment.
- Inspect products and processes to identify defects and drive quality improvements.
- Train and support operators through hands-on instruction and team engagement.
- Help meet daily production goals and ensure accurate performance reporting by tracking and reporting out on Line rates quality and availability. Tasks to include running lines with a focus on coaching and development of TTLs and operators.
- Support custom sample trials and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Support tooling and production through tool trial run offs and die cleanings as needed.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma minimum prefer at least an associates degree.
- 2-5 years direct manufacturing experience with extrusion operations.
- 2-3 years experience in a process support or technical support role.
- 1-2 years previous supervisory experienced preferred.
- Direct involvement with quality systems.
- Direct involvement with safety systems.
- Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts in a continuous manufacturing operation.
- Strong communication skills both oral and written.
- Experience with MS Word and Excel.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: USD - USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based sales incentive plan.
