Working with our Lead Cooks and Food Service Director our food service teamserves both breakfast and lunch in coordination with the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). Jobduties would include but not be limited to; food preparation customer service stocking and organizingand cleaning and sanitation in accordance with the rules and regulations associated with the NSLP. OurFood Service Workers are an essential component of our school meal programs and help support ourmission to provide students and faculty with fresh seasonal and sustainably grown produce :A Food Service Worker performs routine food service tasks in preparation of during and after foodservice under general supervision or instructions in a food production and/or customer service :High school diplomaSpecific Duties: Participate in basic food preparation including but not limited to; salad bar items baked goodssoups sandwiches entrees and desserts. Stocking shelves and displays receiving and properly organizing orders in correct storage areas. Providing exceptional customer service to students and faculty with a focus on quality accurateportion control consistency and service services customers with the highestfocus on quality accurately operationally set portion size and providing excellent customerservice. Work with the Food Service Team to clean and sanitize the kitchen and assigned work stations inaccordance with rules and regulations associated with the NSLP and posted HACCP procedures.105 Main Street Suite 200 Windsor Vermont 05089Phone Fax Take ownership and responsibility for the assigned station and prep areas to maintain companystandards using any and all cleaning lists stocking lists procedures and other guidanceprovided by the company. Ensures all supplies materials and equipment are available in assigned work areas for properperformance of duties; maintains replenishment as necessary; prepares supplies and materialsas required; reports equipment malfunctions. Work with the Lead Cook to complete production records and prep lists in accordance withcompany policies. Assist with executing daily prep procedures. When assigned to a Point of Service station accurately process customer orders and follow propercash handling procedures while providing friendly professional and timely customer service. Adhere to company policies/procedures and safe work practices and RESPONSIBILITIES: Cross train and provide coverage when needed on various kitchen and cafe stations. Take part in training as requested by the company. Assist in the preparation of catering orders and events. Assist with special projects and assignments related to the successful running of the diningprogram as needed.
