Position Type:Full Time (Temp-to-Hire)

Salary:$35360/$17 hourly

Scheduled Shift:Scheduled shift may vary depending on what is available upon hire. The hours could be Mon-Fri 8am-5pm 9am-6pm or 10am-7pm with a rotating Saturday CST

Office Location: Houston TX 77081


About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic call center this role you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls to collect payments on behalf of clients nationwide. All interactions must be conducted in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other relevant regulations.

This is a fast-paced high-volume environment requiring sharp multitasking skills real-time data entry and excellent communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls daily

  • Accurately collect and process payments

  • Maintain detailed and real-time account notes

  • Navigate multiple systems and databases simultaneously

  • Handle escalated calls with professionalism and effective resolution

  • Ensure compliance with FDCPA HIPAA and applicable state/local laws

  • Uphold company standards and represent the firm with a courteous demeanor

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Average Call Handle Time

  • Accuracy and Speed of Call Notations

  • Daily Call Volume Handled

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new systems quickly

  • Strong math and data entry skills

  • Comfortable switching between multiple programs and systems

  • Competitive resourceful and results-oriented

  • Dependable punctual and committed to excellent attendance

  • Strong listening and verbal communication skills

  • Professional demeanor and high tolerance for stress

  • Ability to maintain organization while processing payments

  • Knowledge of FDCPA HIPAA and collection laws is a plus

  • Eligible for licensing in all U.S. states (preferred)

  • Experience in call center or collections environment strongly preferred
