Qualifications
Prior Office Experience:Minimum of one year of previous parish office and/or engagement experience Computer Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media administration (Mailchimp parish website management etc.). Publishing software experience preferred. Communication Skills:Excellent verbal written and digital marketing communication abilities Customer Service Skills:Ability to greet visitors and answer phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
Organizational Skills:Efficiently manage schedules appointments and parish files
Multitasking Ability:Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Attention to Detail:Ensure accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Professionalism:Present a positive and polished demeanor
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary office support to the Priest in Solidum e.g. communications and scheduling appointments
- Support ministry coordinators and department heads in the primary mission of evangelization and discipleship
- Answer/return phone calls; respond to parish emails and requests from parishioners and others
- Answer door and greet visitors to the Parish Office
- Oversee Parish calendar
- Responsible for Mass Intentions and follow-up
- Responsible for scheduling room reservations
- Order all office supplies
- Provide clerical/administrative support to Corpus Christi staff
- Update Marquee sign as requested
- Prepare and print mailing labels postcards flyers envelopes Mass cards coversheets for mailing homebound bulletins etc. as requested
- Oversee the editing and printing of the Parish bulletin
- New Parishioner Management
- Track visitors/new Parishioner (excel spreadsheet)
- Responsible for follow up & engagement plan (phone calls postcards etc.)
- Prepare/maintain Weekend Mass binders
- Baptism Wedding and Funeral Preparation Coordination & Paperwork
- Process intake information when initial calls are received
- Respond to updated Baptismal certificate requests
- Assisting liturgical ministry coordinators with communication to their volunteers

- Hospitality

- Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
- Altar Servers
- Oversee Safe Environments Screening for all volunteers and employees
- Responsible for coordinating and sending out bulk emails
- Manage eCatholic Parish website
Education/Training
- High school diploma or GED required
- Post-secondary degree (Associate or Bachelor) in a relevant field such as business administration marketing or communications preferred but not required
- Certifications in a relevant field such as administrative support desired but not required
