This positionis 0.8 FTE and is an anticipated long term substitute for the fall semesterAugust 2025- January 2026. All art teachers teach Design. Upper level studio courses include Jewelry Pottery Sculpture Photography Digital Arts Drawing Painting and Printmaking. Three teachers share dedicated studio spaces necessitating a willingness to work together and flexibility in teaching assignments. Excellent communication skills are required. A desire to learn and a passion for art are expected. Position starts August 2025 open until filled.

General Purpose:
The classroom teacher is responsible for the education of each pupil in his/her charge and for working with students parents other teachers and staff toward achieving the goals set forth by the district.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree
Necessary Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of child and adolescent development
Knowledge of testing instruments and their application to the academic setting
Knowledge of research based instructional interventions
Ability to collaborate with professionals parents and community
Awareness of applicable state Administrative Rules and Regulations
LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Applicable State Certification (or Statement of Eligibility from applicable agency )
Highly Qualified status or equivalent
