Job Description
Windows Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Onsite
ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a Windows Cloud Infrastructure Engineer! This position is 100% Onsite working eastern time zone business hours but could require occasional onsite visits for critical meetings.

This individual will be responsible for designing deploying and supporting a highly available and disaster-resilient infrastructure in Azure with a strong focus onWindows ServerSQL Server Always On andIIS-based application hosting. The ideal candidate will also have experience managingVMware ESXiandMicrosoft Hyper-Venvironments.

Your Responsibilities:
Azure Infrastructure & Availability:
- Architect and manage Azure environments including Virtual Networks Application Gateway with WAF Load Balancers and VPN gateways.
- Design and supportAvailability Setsfor web and API servers.
- ImplementAzure Site Recovery (ASR)for cross-region disaster recovery.
- ManageGeo-redundant Azure Backupsfor business continuity.
- Deploy and administerWindows Serverenvironments in Azure Hyper-V and VMware ESXi platforms.
- Host and manageIIS-based web and API applications ensuring secure and scalable deployments.
- Manage core Windows services:Active Directory DNS DHCP NPS RRAS etc.
- SupportVMware ESXiclusters vCenter configurations and guest VM lifecycle.
- AdministerHyper-Venvironments for staging dev and production workloads.
- Deploy and maintainSQL Server Always On Availability Groupsfor high availability and fault tolerance.
- Ensure performance security and backup of SQL databases in both cloud and virtualized environments.
- Automate administrative tasks usingPowerShell.
- Monitor infrastructure health and automate alerts using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Collaborate with DevOps development QA and support teams to ensure infrastructure supports application needs.
- Create and maintain infrastructure diagrams documentation and recovery procedures.
- Provide infrastructure support and participate in deployments including occasional customer integrations.
Core Technical Skills:
- Experience withMicrosoft Azure IaaS including networking HA/DR and backup solutions.
- Expertise inWindows Server including IIS Active Directory and related services.
- Strong hands-on experience withSQL Server including Always On Availability Groups.
- Experience managing and supportingVMware ESXihosts vCenter and virtual machine provisioning.
- Proficiency withHyper-Vfor hosting and managing Windows-based workloads.
- PowerShell scripting for infrastructure automation and task orchestration.
- Certifications such asAZ-104AZ-305MCSEVCP orHyper-V MCSA.
- Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
