The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Backend Developer to join the team in Long Beach CA.
We are looking for a talented Mid-Level Backend Developer to join our high-performance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of server-side programming and experience with backend technologies. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side logic ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain server-side applications and services
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Design and implement application programming interface (APIs) and web services for data exchange
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance
Write clean maintainable and efficient code while following best practices
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve development processes
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience with backend development (Java Spring Oracle SQL SQL Server)
3 years of experience in programming languages such as JavaScript C# Python SQL etc.
3 years of experience with Web Service integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
3 years of experience with version control systems such as Git ClearCase or Subversion
3 years of experience in full software development life-cycle
3 years of experience in Agile Methodologies
Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server Teradata Postgres MySQL and/or NoSQL technologies (ElasticSearch MarkLogic Mongo)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure)
Experience with analytic platforms (e.g. Adobe Experience Cloud Tableau Databricks Apache Spark etc.)
Experience with microservice architecture and containerization (e.g. Docker Kubernetes etc.)
