Scope of the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Delivery the Senior Project Manager takes responsibility for the day-to-day management of Tech projects to ensure successful project delivery in terms of timescale cost and scope. The Senior Project Manager will manage several parallel projects and co-ordinate the resources of both internal and external teams to ensure successful project outcomes that align with strategic objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of large-scale projects.
- Ensure all projectsmeet deadlines stay within budget and achieve their intended outcomes.
- Develop project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans schedules and budgets to track progress.
- Define and schedule resources for project/programme implementation ensuring resource availability and allocation.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects.
- Communicate clearly and regularly with Stakeholders Executives and team members.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope schedule and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems tools and techniques.
- Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
- Plan and schedule project deliverables goals and milestones.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Efficiently identify and solve project issues.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Mentor and guide junior team members and cross-functional teams.

Skills & Experience Required:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or Prince2 Certification or equivalent qualification desirable.
- Bachelors Degree or higher preferably in Engineering or Technology related field.
- Previous experience of working in Senior Project Management and/or IT Management with evidence of successful deployment of projects.
- Significant experience in coordinating and/supporting IT business processes.
- Proven ability in scheduling and budgeting.
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Works cooperatively and effectively with others in a team to achieve shared objectives.
- Is proactive in the approach to work and can successfully manage own priorities and workload.
