Job Description
As a Finance Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our catering and client services ensuring accuracy efficiency. If you have a strong background in finance excellent analytical skills and a passion for the catering industry we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
- Operate in a finance business partner role supporting Operations Directors to manage their business to achieve ambitious financial targets
- Use trend analysis and forecasting techniques to highlight risk and opportunity in a timely manner to maximise benefit to the business
- Provide support and training to operational teams to ensure Operations Managers and Location Managers can maximise the operational efficiency of their teams and contracts
- Identify and implement initiatives to deliver sustainable operational improvements
- Control the month end process and providing timely and informative financial and operational information to both internal and external stakeholders
- Work effectively as part of a team of 10 finance business partners
- Internal annual budget setting for region and overheads
Qualifications :
- A lively outgoing personality
- Qualified /Part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA)
- Proven ability to work with and analyse big data sets
- Experience of operating in a multi-site retail business ideally within a food service/ catering environment but this isnt essential
- A motivated self-starter with a pro-active approach to work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills must be comfortable interacting across all levels of the business in formal and informal environments
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong commercial mind-set
- A passion for delivering improvement
