Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Consumer Editor to join our this role you will lead a high-performing Advice Content Team delivering quality content to brief and timeline in a fast-paced setting. Reporting to the Director of Content you will be a seasoned journalist with a keen interest in the automotive industry leveraging your expertise to maintain high standards of quality and credibility.
Day to day you will:
- Manage and lead a high-performance Advice team to deliver quality content on deadline.
- Act as a content innovator generating ideas for breaking insight and trending Advice content.
- Analyse audience and engagement data to inform content creation.
- Create and deliver accurate and timely written video audio and photographic content.
- Provide clear direct and timely feedback to journalists.
- Implement cutting-edge search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies to maximise content visibility.
- Work with Publishing and Marketing teams to maximize content engagement opportunities.
- Ensure all news content complies with legal and ethical regulations.
Qualifications :
What youll bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in journalism communications or a related field.
- Extensive experience in mainstream journalism with an interest in automotive.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent research and fact-checking skills.
- Strong networking skills internal and external.
- Extensive experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and SEO best practices.
- Proven organisational skills ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
- Full drivers license.
