About the role
Support Clinical Genomics research and clinical workflows including data collection analysis and participant coordination under senior supervision.
Assist in managing clinical and research databases ethics submissions and governance documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Deliver high-quality patient-centred care during research intake and clinic visits including collecting family histories and managing genetic samples.
Coordinate research participant recruitment including liaising with general practices and conducting site visits locally regionally or interstate as required.
Maintain accurate records and timelines for clinical studies including budget tracking data reporting and responding to data queries.
Ensure adherence to ICH-GCP guidelines and contribute to quality improvement activities across clinical and research projects.
About you
Tertiary qualification (or working towards) in a health-related discipline such as genetic counselling nursing allied health pharmacy or biomedical science or equivalent experience in clinical health services research.
Understanding of or willingness to learn clinical intake processes research coordination data management participant recruitment and ethical/governance compliance in health services research.
Knowledge of healthcare environments including familiarity with medical terminology and a basic understanding of clinical genomics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven time management interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Proficient in using MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) email and research databases such as REDCap and Trakgene with a commitment to continuous professional development and workplace safety
