Minimum Qualifications
An earned doctorate or terminal degree in the field of specialization. Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience developing and delivering online graduate level courses.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree from an accredited clinical education program if applicable to the course content. Eligible for unrestricted clinical practice within California in one (1) of the health professions represented in the school if applicable to the course content. Demonstrated experience translating educational content into online adult learning. Earned certificate in online learning and/or formal training on the Quality Matters (QM) Quality Learning and Teaching ( QLT ) or other rubrics for online teaching. Intermediate to advanced computer skills. Demonstrated potential to work as a team with administrators fellow faculty staff and students. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice equity and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
