Senior Supply Chain Ops Manager (Level M)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Senior Supply Chain Ops Manager (Level M) to join our Commodities Ops team in Everett WA.

The selected candidate will provide senior level leadership and oversight to a team of supply chain managers and professionals within our Fasteners and Specialty Standards team This team plays a critical role of ensuring accurate demand for products building strong relationships with suppliers and working cross-functionally with a vast variety of roles within the greater supply chain to ensure the on-time execution of product deliveries and quality across our BCA programs and Fabrication division. This leader will be a senior member of the Materials and Standards leadership team working cross-functionally with other senior leaders and executives to ensure total achievement of program and BCA goals and objectives.

This role requires partnership with Leaders across the enterprise and an active member of the BCA (Boeing Commercial Airplane) Supply Chain position will discover new opportunities and solutions for business problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution enabling the organizations to improve systems business policies processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages Procurement Agent employees and mid-level managers performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services developing supplier strategies development of bid packages proposal analysis and development of contracts.
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies goals objectives.
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies processes and related tools. Manages develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5 years of experience in a related function (including but not limited to: Finance Contracts Estimating Procurement Financial Analysis Business Operations or Supplier Management
  • 5 years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • 5 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment which required strong communication skills to frequently interact with Leadership or internal and external customer representatives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelors Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 5 experience with presenting and communicating data in Senior leadership briefings
  • 3 years of experience using data to develop contract and/or procurement strategies and recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
