Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and repair of all Sheridan Auto Group buildings. The ideal candidate will take initiative be highly organized and capable of independently managing routine and emergency maintenance tasks across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities including plumbing electrical HVAC and general carpentry
Conduct regular inspections of all dealership and body shop buildings
Address maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
Handle seasonal maintenance including snow removal landscaping support and gutter clearing
Assist in setting up events signage and facility rearrangements
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed
Track and maintain supply inventory for maintenance needs
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Report any major maintenance concerns to management immediately
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a facility or building maintenance technician
Strong working knowledge of building systems (electrical HVAC plumbing etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently
Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or in tight spaces
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Strong communication and organizational skills
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications a plus
