Job Description
Transform the future of logistics safety as a Compliance Manager on Amazon Shippings Compliance this role you will lead initiatives to enhance safety and quality standards across our shipping network. Youll develop innovative compliance programs that support our customers to meet amazons high bar for safety with a customer obsessed approach.
As an individual contributor youll analyze complex data to identify trends implement proactive safety measures and build scalable solutions that protect both our shipping partners and front-line associates. Success in this role requires strategic thinking adaptability and a passion for operational excellence.
This is an opportunity to pioneer new approaches in a rapidly evolving business space while making a significant impact on supply chain safety and efficiency.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to identify capture and proactively address safety and quality defects in the supply chain
- Analyze data and trends to continuously improve compliance processes and outcomes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate compliance initiatives into broader business strategies
- Adapt quickly to evolving business needs and industry regulations
- Strong day 1 mentality
- Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and create structure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellence in data-driven decision making
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives
- Able to communicate and manage stakeholders up to and including head of departments
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Strong project management capabilities
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience in compliance program management legal governance audit risk/loss prevention or equivalent
- Experience handling confidential information
- - Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
- - Experience in internal audit and risk management or equivalent
- - Strong track record of implementing process improvements and safety programs
- Experience with SQL and Excel
- Experience in program requirements definition together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements
