What You Will Achieve
- Conduct preventive predictive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging machinery ensuring all documentation is accurate.
- Perform specification checks interpret blueprints sketches and engineering specifications and determine the sequence of operations and setup methods.
- Take responsibility for individual contributions to team deliverables fostering a positive team environment and representing the work group within department teams.
- Manage personal time and professional development prioritize workflow and assist less-experienced colleagues in prioritizing their tasks.
- Complete assignments based on established procedures identify process improvements troubleshoot issues and provide direction and training to team members.
- Share knowledge within and across work groups proactively identify and resolve non-routine problems and make decisions requiring multiple options.
- Work under general supervision independently complete recurring assignments and refer new or unusual problems to the supervisor.
- Ensure non-standard work is reviewed for sound technical judgment adhere to Pfizer standards guidelines and values and train others as needed.
- Apply safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in daily operations operate production machines and maintain a clean organized work area.
- Train colleagues for cross-training and capability enhancement perform special projects handle objects and tools efficiently and coordinate with other departments for smooth production operations.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- High School Diploma or GED with at least
- 4 years experience
- Certification in the assigned area (if applicable)
- Demonstrated troubleshooting capability on production equipment including all electrical transmission and gear drive repairs
- Extensive generalist experience will be considered.
- Mechanical and electrical skills and in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing cells utilities and systems in the installation and qualification of equipment
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos
- Strong understanding of safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Ability to work under general supervision and complete recurring assignments independently

- Bachelors Degree
- Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to train and mentor less-experienced colleagues
