HGV Mechanic
Location: Usk Monmouthshire Commutable from Newport Cwmbran Chepstow
Salary: 1922/hr high volume of overtime available at x1.5
About the role:
Join a long-established family-run transport business maintaining a fleet of trucks and trailers. I am looking for a time-served HGV Mechanic to work with a small loyal team. Immediate starts available.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and safety checks on trucks & trailers
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
Maintain fleet to ensure roadworthiness and compliance
Work independently and manage workload
Collaborate with a skilled long-serving team
Skills & Qualifications:
NVQ or equivalent time-served HGV Mechanic
Strong fault-finding and repair skills
Experience in vehicle inspections and safety checks
Reliable organised and practical
