Director FP&A - Strategic Business Partner

What Youll Do

Be a True Business Partner

• Serve as a trusted advisor to BU leaders shaping strategy spotting risks and opportunities and driving operational excellence
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial plans with business priorities
• Hold the organization accountable for delivering on commitments KPIs and value creation

Lead Financial Planning & Analysis

• Own the Annual Operating Plan Monthly forecasting and long-range planning process across the company and BUs
• Track performance vs. plan deliver variance analysis and recommend course corrections
• Provide clear actionable insights on revenue margin cost and capital allocation
• Turn complex financial data into simple compelling recommendations for action

Drive Performance & Results

• Establish and track key metrics that drive profitable growth and efficiency
• Build best-in-class models dashboards and reporting tools that create transparency
• Identify opportunities to expand margins reduce costs and boost operational effectiveness

Inspire & Develop Talent

• Lead mentor and elevate a high-performing FP&A team
• Create a culture of curiosity ownership and continuous improvement
• Ensure strong communication and alignment between finance and the business

What Youll Bring

• Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Economics or related field; MBA or CPA/CMA strongly preferred.
• 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A corporate finance or related roles ideally within a global multi-business-unit environment.
• Proven track record as a strategic business partner and influencer at the senior leadership level.
• Strong financial acumen with expertise in financial modeling analysis and performance management.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills able to distill insights and influence outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead develop and inspire teams.
• Bias for action: willing to roll up sleeves challenge the status quo and drive change.
• Experience in a fast-paced results-driven organization (e.g. top-tier multinational Fortune 500 PE-backed or leading industry players) is a plus.

This role is based out of our corporate headquarters in Mason MI working a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office per week. Relocation assistance is available for currently located outside the area.
